“With Ellie, she was filming Wednesday in Ireland,” showrunner Foley explained. “So even though we went down the road of trying to figure out a way to get her in, it ultimately just became impossible logistically.”

In the series finale, Joe Goldberg’s past finally catches up with him. After a confrontation with Bronte—who survives and exposes his crimes—Joe is arrested and convicted for multiple murders, including those of Beck, Love Quinn, Benji, and Peach. He’s sentenced to life in prison, where he continues to deflect blame onto society instead of taking responsibility.

“So in the end, my punishment is even worse than I imagined. The loneliness, oh my god. The loneliness,” Joe said in a voiceover. “No hope of being held. Knowing this is forever. It’s unfair. Putting all of this on me. Aren’t we all just products of our environment? Hurt people hurt people. I never stood a chance.”

He added in the final scene, “Maybe we have a problem as a society. Maybe we should fix what’s broken in us. Maybe the problem isn’t me. Maybe it’s you.”

Meanwhile, the people left in his wake find closure. Kate turns her focus to art and creates a stable life for Joe’s son, Henry. Marienne finds success as an artist, and Nadia returns to teaching after being wrongfully imprisoned in Season 4.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, directed by franchise veteran Francis Lawrence, is set to hit theaters next year.

Though it’s the newest film in the series, the story takes us back in time, decades before Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, volunteered as tribute. This prequel centers on a young Haymitch Abernathy, the character portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the original films, and the brutal 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.

Led by Joseph Zada as young Haymitch, the prequel introduces a fresh cast of rising stars and familiar faces stepping into the world of Panem. Here’s a look at who’s starring in this long-awaited return to the arena.

Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy

Zada, a 20-year-old Australian actor, takes on the role of young Haymitch Abernathy, the sole male tribute from District 12 in the 50th Hunger Games. Zada has previously appeared in Australian productions such as Invisible Boys and Total Control. He’s also set to appear in the upcoming series We Were Liars and East of Eden, starring alongside Florence Pugh.

My priority has always been that I want fans of the book to feel really satisfied by the story we’re telling, but also for them to know that this is an adaptation in a new medium, so it’s not going to be exactly the same. I think those are sort of the two things that are always in my head,” Jenny told Variety in 2022.

This unofficial limit was observed by every president after Washington, until Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was elected to four terms from 1932 to 1944.

In response to Roosevelt’s unprecedented tenure, a proposal to limit presidents to two terms was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1947, two years after his death. After revisions by the Senate, the amendment was approved and ratified by the states on February 27, 1951.

In March 2025, when asked if he had been presented with plans to seek a third term, Trump said, “There are methods which you could do it.” One method mentioned was for Vice President JD Vance to run for office and then pass the role to Trump.
