The Yash Chopra Foundation (YCF), The Philantropic Arm of Yash Raj Films, Has Once Again Uphed the Legendary Filmmaker’s Legacy of GIVING BACK to the Industry. Through its transformative media scholarship program, launched last year on yash chopra’s 92nd birth anniversary, ycf is enabling the child of daily wage earners in the hindi Film Industry to Purses Higher Education in Film, Media, and Communication Studies.

The Initiative Aims to Support the Children of Unsung Heroes of the Industry – Light Men, Spot Boys, Technicians, Editors, and Others – by offering them finance and mentorship opptunities. Each scholarship provides up to Rs. 5 Lakhs Per Student for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses in Disciplines Such as Mass Communication, Filmmaking, Production and Direction, Direction, Visual Arts, Cinematography, and Animation.

This year, five students have been selected after a Rigorous Multi-Round Screening Process. Among them is Vipul Kumar Prajapati, who has enrolled in the Ba in Film, Television and New Media Production at Atharva College, Mumbai. Priti Yadav will be pursuing a ba in multimedia and mass communication at mvlu college, mumbai, while bhumika gupta has secured admission in the same program at st. Paul’s college for women. Aditya Arjun Yadav has chown to study b.sc. In Animation and VFX at Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Mumbai, And Raghujeet Gupta has been begun his ma in mass communication with a focus on film, television, and new media at deviprasad goenka maanagament College of Media Studies.
